Dr. Angelina Strickland, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C

Angelina Strickland graduated from the University of Louisville with her Master’s as a Family Nurse Practitioner and obtained her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Frontier University. She later received her certification as a Psychiatrist Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been working in the healthcare field for over 20 years. Starting her career as a respiratory therapist, then became an ICU nurse and in 2012 became an advanced practice registered nurse. Being dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatrist Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she believes in caring for her patient’s physical and mental health needs.
Dr. Strickland has been trained in EMDR and Trauma therapy and she is also MAT certified. She is the founder and CEO of HaveHope and serves as one of the medication management providers for the group. She has experience with the medication management of anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, ADD/ADHD, nightmares, PTSD, and other mental/behavioral health issues.
Dr. Strickland believes that we all need help occasionally. Whether it be needing help to process our grief, our family dynamics, our careers, or just not feeling like ourselves anymore. We all need to reset from time to time. HaveHope can help you get connected to the right therapist and provide case management and medication management if needed. April Reynolds, Peer Support Specialist, COO

April Reynolds graduated from Jefferson Community and Technical College with an associate’s degree in Social Work and is furthering her educational studies at the University of Louisville at the Kent School of Social Work to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She serves as a Peer Support Specialist for HaveHope Counseling & Consulting. April provides individual and group counseling to clients assisting them to find the needed resources within the community. She provides motivation and encouragement to our clients during their mental healthcare journey. April is also a founding board member of HaveHope Community Initiatives, the nonprofit leg of our organization, and serves as the Vice President/Chief Operations Officer. She helps cultivate relationships throughout the community to provide our clients with access to the resources and programming they need.
Danielle Lackey, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Danielle is a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Nursing degree from Frontier Nursing University. With over fifteen years of diverse experience in healthcare, she brings compassion, knowledge, and a deep commitment to patient-centered mental health care.
Her career began in the fast-paced environment of intensive care, where she developed strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations. Over the years, Danielle’s passion for whole-person wellness led her to expand her practice into mental health, where she now provides evidence-based treatment and supportive care to individuals on their healing journey.
Danielle’s approach is warm, intentional, and rooted in respect, ensuring each client feels heard, valued, and empowered. Her clinical strength combined with her genuine heart for people makes her an exceptional provider and a welcoming presence for those seeking support.
